About This Course: 

The SVQ Level 3 - Modern Apprenticeship in Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenanceat City of Glasgow College teaches the skills you’ll need to work as a domestic gas installer. The course content is based on standards set by the Sector Skills Council (Energy and Utility Skills).

What You Need: 

You must be employed in the industry as on-the-job training and assessment are essential parts of the course.

What You Study: 

The course covers all areas of domestic gas installation and maintenance on a range of appliances e.g. fires, cookers, meters, water heaters, central heating systems etc.

After The Course: 

Successful candidates can apply for their Gas Safe Register card which will allow them to legally work domestic gas industry.

City Campus North Hanover Street

Dates: 

Three years block release from 8.45am-4.30pm
