Funding and Support

Support initiatives for Business

There are a number of support initiatives for Business to fund the training their employees.

Funding your part time study

If you are attending a part time course, you will be required to pay the full amount of the tuition fee at enrolment, if the fee is £200 or less. If the fee is more than £200, you can pay in 4 instalments, by providing details of your debit or credit card.

Payments will be taken on the following dates:

  • 25% at enrolment
  • 25% on 10/10/11
  • 25% 08/11/11
  • 25% 08/12/11

Please note this option is only available to self financing students. Where no payment is received on enrolment in respect of a student due to pay fees, their details will not be processed through the computer registration system and a place cannot be guaranteed until payment is made. You will not be liable for fees if you can prove 100% employer sponsorship. Where employer sponsorship is partial, you will be liable for the outstanding balance in full on enrolment.

Withdrawals

You may be required to pay tuition fees and charges to the College on withdrawal from your course. Whether you will be required to pay or not and the amount of the payment will be at the discretion of the College. Any fee payable will be dependent on individual circumstances, reflecting attendance patterns.

Refunds

Where the College has cancelled a course a full refund will be undertaken. In addition, where payment has been made, a £10 discount voucher redeemable against a College course will also be offered**. Other than in the above case, refunds will not be granted unless extenuating circumstances prevail. The Depute Principal will determine if extenuating circumstances are relevant and decide whether a refund is appropriate as well as the value of the refund. The value of any refund will be dependent on a variety of factors, including individual circumstances. An administration charge of £20 will normally be deducted from the value of any refund. EXAM FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE.
