Overview

Are you a beginner and want to learn the basics? Then the college certificate courses are for you. This short course will introduce you to the theory, principles and practice of keeping computerised payroll records using SAGE payroll software.

You'll learn a range of skills including; how to create and process employee records, payments, and statutory payments, whilst being taught by staff with a wealth of experience in computerised payroll.

Successful students have, in the past, gone on to complete one of our Accounting courses and gained employment as an accountant. Our students have also been recognised by Glasgow's International Financial Services District (IFSD) for achieving top marks in their studies.

Stay up to date with the Payroll industry by visiting the Payroll World blog and make sure to take a look at our Financial Services Industry Academy, who work closely with and provide training for a number of organisations including the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
