About This Course:
This course is a gentle and supportive introduction to computing for first-time computer users. The course topics include Getting to know the computer, How computers work, The role of the operating system, Working with files and directories, Presenting information using word processing, spreadsheets and graphics, and Finding information using the Internet.
Students are advised that they have to provide a storage memory device, eg USB memory stick.

- 10 Weeks for the Wednesday run course.
- 8 Weeks for the Saturday run course.

City Campus North Hanover Street.
Dates:
10 weeks on a Wednesday from 6pm-9pm.
8 weeks on a Saturday from 9.30am-12.30pm.
This Course will run again in September 2012.
