We want you to harnass your artistic side and learn to create your very own metal masterpieces.This creative welding course is suitable for those with little or no metalwork experience but can also be tailored to suit those with some experience or skill. 

So bring your ideas and let us help you turn them into reality. Spark your imagination.

No entry requirements.

What you study

  • Instruction and safe use of commonly used hand tools.
  • Instruction and safe use of commonly used power tools.
  • MMA, MIG, TIG and Gas welding processes.
  • Metal cutting and joining.
  • Bending, folding and shaping equipment.

Additional Information

Materials

Materials for welding (metal) are not included. If you require materials, we can provide this at an additional cost of £30 (if you have a larger project in mind, this cost might increase). 

Protective clothing such as leather aprons, gauntlets, welding screens and safety glasses will be provided but you must provide your own steel toecap work boots and overalls (these can be sourced through the college, for an additional fee).
