Overview

Do you want to improve your drawing skills?

This short, practical course builds on the skills already developed on the Drawing for Beginners Class and is aimed at those who already have a basic level of drawing skill and are looking to advance.

This course may also help to strengthen your portfolio if you wish to apply to a full-time art or design course.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

Successful completion of the drawing for Beginners class (or applicants should be at similar level).

 

What you study

You'll study:

  • Drawing Skills.
  • Using a Wide Range of Materials.
  • Working with Line, Tone, Shape and Form.
  • Making Good Drawing Compositions.
  • Working with a Range of Subject Matter.
  • How to Use Colour.

 

After the course

Careers

On completion of the course, you may wish to consider applying to a full-time course or another leisure evening course.

Continuing study

The course may help to strengthen your portfolio if you wish to apply to a full-time art or design course.
