Overview

This course is for you if you want to build on on your basic understanding of digital photography and improve your camera techniques and image management skills. You'll work on weekly projects in the studio, or on location.

 

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

You don’t need any formal qualifications for this course, but you should have some basic Apple Mac computer skills. If you’re not already familiar with digital photography, you should study the Photography: An Introduction, or Introduction to Digital Photography courses first.

You'll study:

  • Photographic Camera Techniques.
  • Post-production Adjustments.
  • Retouching and Image Repair.
  • Mounting and Printing Images.
  • Photomerging.
  • HDR imaging.

 

Additional Information

Materials

The college can provide some equipment, however we encourage you to bring your own DSLR camera. For digital photography classes it is recommended you bring a USB stick, or a storage device.
