Chaplaincy

In order to meet the spiritual needs of our diverse student and staff population the College provides a Chaplaincy Service.

The purpose of the service is:

  • To offer skills, experience and expertise in raising awareness of the spiritual dimension throughout the College.
  • To provide support, advice and guidance of an emotional or spiritual nature to all students and staff of all faiths and none.
  • To support students and staff in times of difficulty including crisis and bereavement.
  • To provide opportunities for the reflection and discussion on personal and institutional beliefs, values and attitudes.
  • To work collaboratively with other College support systems.
  • To assist the College in the review and implementation of its Equality Schemes.
  • To assist the College celebrate religious events and festivals.
  • To assist the College build links with community groups.
