Student Life at City of Glasgow College

Being a student is an exciting time and a challenging one. You will need to think about how you will finance your studies. The good news is that most Scottish students studying in Scotland do not pay fees and can apply for a Student Loan or a Bursary.

You should also consider how to balance study with other time commitments like work or family responsibilities, and what opportunities are available for employment or further study when you complete your course.

Whatever you need to know Student Services are here to help. Browse our site or email us at studentservices@cityofglasgowcollege.ac.uk

Disabled access guide for student services

Background image:

We provide a range of support to make sure your learning experience helps you achieve your goals. If you have a disability, health condition or need some extra help, let us know. We may be able to provide specialist equipment, make alternative arrangements, or help with access to financial support.

There’s lots to do in Glasgow and our clubs and societies provide a focus for the interests of our diverse student community. If you like sport, music, politics, or see yourself as a future Oscar winner, we’ve got a club for you. If you don’t find a club that suits, you can always start your own.

We offer catered accommodation, mainly for first year students, and self-catered residences next to our Riverside campus. We can also help you select alternative accommodation such as private halls of residence and flats – and advise you on housing benefits and council tax.
