Data Protection

We look after the personal data of our staff, our students and of any other people who might visit the college or contact us. To make sure we do that properly we comply with data protection laws. 

We have Privacy Notices for the following groups which tells you how we use your personal information:-

We also have a Privacy Notice which covers the sharing of data within college buildings for the NHS Test and Protect Scotland App. 

To support the college's Privacy Notices, we have GDPR documentation regarding consent for use of photographs and/or videos to promote the college.

We have a Data Protection PolicyData Breach Procedure and a Request for Personal Data Procedure which all staff must follow.

We carry out privacy impact assessments in certain circumstances, for example, where we undertake projects involving new technology, or where we are introducing a new system to process a significant amount of personal or sensitive data. We have an initial assessment form and guidance for staff.

We have a training programme and a short video (below) which tells you about how the College manages your data. 

Visitors to our Website

We use cookies to gather non-personal, statistical information about visitors to our website.  We collect this information in a way that does not identify anyone. We will not associate any data gathered with any personally identifying information from any source.  This information is only used to improve our websites.
