Overview

This course will give you the skills and knowledge needed to apply recognised marketing practices and achieve corporate objectives.  If you study all 3 units it will take you 34 weeks to complete the course.

  • This course is made up of 3 units which cost £705 each, therefore the total cost is £2,115.
  • The membership and examination fees are separate and payable directly to the CIM and are the responsibility of the individual.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • You must be aged at least 18 years old with two Advanced Level passes or aged 19+ with 1 year or more marketing/sales experience; OR
  • GNVQ/GSVQ Level 3 Award; OR
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 2 Award in Marketing; OR
  • Recognised awards equivalent to above; OR
  • Introductory Certificate in Marketing.

What you study

You'll study three units:-

  • Marketing - Provides a detailed explanation of the key theories and practices behind marketing as an exchange process and a business function. It introduces you to the importance of the marketing planning process and the role of marketing across the organisation.
  • Integrated Communications - Provides an understanding of the nature and scope of marketing communications. The unit addresses the key characteristics of the communications mix.
  • Digital Marketing - This unit focuses on the importance of digital marketing in today's dynamic and changing marketing and business environments.
