Overview

This course is an opportunity to acquire the skills and ability in applying marketing knowledge and techniques, needed to achieve corporate objectives.  You will study 3 modules:-

  • Block 1 - Strategic Marketing 27/08/19 – 19/11/19
  • Block 2 - Mastering Metrics 26/11/19 – 06/02/20
  • Block 3 - Digital Strategy 10/03/20 – 10/06/20

The Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended City of Glasgow College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the July 2019 assessments session for the Mastering Metrics module of the Diploma in Professional Marketing.

2203 Digital Strategy

The Awarding Body at The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has commended City of Glasgow College for the excellent standard of results achieved for assessments submitted in the July 2019 assessments session for the Digital Strategy module of the Diploma in Professional Marketing.

Please Note:-

  • This course is made up of 3 units at a cost of £705 each, therefore the total cost is £2115.
  • To complete all 3 units will take 34 weeks.
  • The membership and examination fees are separate and payable directly to the CIM and are the responsibility of the individual.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • Any business, or marketing degree, or Masters degree (or equivalent qualifications) where a minimum of one-third of the credits comes from marketing (ie 120 credits in bachelors degrees, or 60 credits with masters degrees); OR
  • Professional Certificate in Marketing (2002 or 2008 syllabus); OR
  • Experience in a marketing management role that has provided potential students with the ability to evidence that they can meet the learning outcomes of the CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing if required to do so and is sufficient to pass the Entry Test to Level 6.

What you study

You'll study three units:-

  • Strategic Marketing - You'll evaluate the strategic marketing process and its implementation in a range of marketing contexts.
  • Digital Strategy - You'll look at how to plan and execute a digital strategy for a range of organisations.
  • Mastering Metrics - You'll look at analysing and evaluating a range of marketing performance indicators.

After the course

Advancement into the professional postgraduate Diploma in Marketing will depend on the successful completion of all exams at professional Diploma level.
