Overview
Aimed at those with a growing practice in comic art, this fun course will help you develop your creative and technical skills in digital and traditional comic art techniques. You'll further explore comic art techniques from story ideas and sketchbook type drawing, through to finishing artwork ready for your own comic strip in a supportive environment.
The course is set within an open and friendly art studio atmosphere and taught by experienced Scottish artist and lecturer Russell McEwan who currently draws for Horrere Comics, Madius Comics, and Cabal Comics Group.

Careers

- More advanced evening class or progression to NC or HN in Graphic Design and Illustration.

How the course is taught
The College has developed this range of creative digital workshops to inspire individuals to start or further develop their own comic art journey. The workshops are delivered in an informal and supportive way by our highly experienced staff, who are artists, photographers, designers and makers.
