Overview

Looking to become an engineering technician? This course gives you the skills, knowledge and understanding that you’ll need for a career in mechanical engineering. Successful completion of this HNC also gives you entry to Higher National Diploma or degree courses.

You’ll be able to use state of the art facilities at the college – such as our fully equipped engineering workshop, pneumatic and hydraulic labs and computer labs running CAD software.

You'll be taught by staff with significant engineering experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • NC in an appropriate Mechanical Engineering subject; OR
  • Two Higher Grades – Maths and one other (preferably Physics).
