Overview

This course is for those who want a career in the management of events like conferences, exhibitions and special events. On this course you'll cover a wide range of subjects to ensure a good knowledge base, as well as relevant skills.

Careers

This course prepares you for a career in the organisation and management of conferences, exhibitions, festivals and special events.​

Continuing study

Successful students can progress on to:

BA Events Management (Year 3) at the University of the West of Scotland; BA Events & Festival Management (Year 3) at Edinburgh Napier University; BA International Events Management (Year 3) at Glasgow Caledonian University.

How the course is taught

The course is delivered over a 1 year period. The Units are divided into three 12 week blocks. There is a blend of theory and practical delivery within the course.
