Overview
This course provides an introduction to the subject of Graphic Design. You will cover the creative process and work through a series of short projects. These will focus on typography and page layout. You will also be introduced to Adobe CC software. However, this course is primarily about developing an understanding of the design process rather than learning software.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, other than basic computer literacy and a genuine interest in the subject.

On completion of the course, you may wish to apply to the full-time NQ Graphic Design course.
Teaching
How the course is taught
The course is taught through a series of practical studio-based projects and workshops. The course comprises an SQA unit at SCQF Level 5 so on successful completion of the course you will receive formal certification.
