Overview

On this course you'll study the practical and theoretical aspects of Plastering which will prepare you for working in the Construction Industry. You'll also develop transferable skills such as numeracy and efficient working practices which will help you to get a job in this field.

You'll receive a National Progression Award in Construction from Scottish Qualification Authority on successful completion of this course: this is a recognised National Qualification in Construction.

This course runs for 5 months from August to December.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • One National 4 qualification including English, Mathematics or a Science subject; OR
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

You'll be invited for a group and/or individual interview where you can find out more about the course and tell us why you're interested in this subject area.  Where COVID restrictions are in place we will invite you to either a video meeting, telephone conference call or make an offer based on your application form.

ESOL entry requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum ESOL Intermediate level 2 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher for HNC/D courses.
