    This invaluable course introduces you to the wide variety of knowledge and practical skills you will need to work in the modern business world.

    The course is aimed at individuals wanting to progress onto HNC Business, Admin and IT or Legal Services. It will be delivered to you by our highly professional teaching staff with significant industry experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students.

    During the academic year you will study a broad range of business units including Admin, IT, Enterprise, Legal Services, Management, Marketing, Finance and Events

    The course is designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skillset to progress onto a HNC in the Faculty ​

    Entry requirements

    Minimum entry requirements

    • Three National 5 qualifications at Grade C  (including English and Maths or Application of Maths) or above in relevant* subjects; OR
    • NC Business or NC Administration at SCQF level 5 (other NCs may be considered); 
    • Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

    * relevant subjects include English, Administration, Business Management, Economics, Geography, History, Mathematics, Application of Maths, Modern Studies or a Science subject.

    ESOL entry requirements

    Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
