Overview

This course will help you develop the basic skills every cook needs - working in our fully equipped commercial kitchens and Scholars' restaurant. Combining college and SQA units, we will prepare you for your professional cookery exam.

This course runs for 6 months from January - June.

This course is placed on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework at Level 5.

Minimum entry requirements

  • Three National 4 qualifications including English and Mathematics; OR
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
