Jewellery Design Competition

Event Date:
Friday, April 24, 2020 - 10:00

Calling all future Jewellery makers: we are launching our very first Jewellery design competition.

Entry

The competition is open to all young people in schools studying Art & design or Craft & Technology based subjects in or near Glasgow.  You can enter individually or in partnership with a classmate.

Stage 1:  Design Stage

Use your imagination and creativity to design a piece of jewellery

You should design an item of jewellery inspired by Environmental Changes. The design should be in silver and be presented on an A3 board. You can draw your design by hand or create it on the computer.

It can...

  • Include multiple gemstones of any colour
  • Be a ring, necklace, earrings, bangle or bracelet or matching set.
  • Be either contemporary or traditional in style

Be creative! We want to see YOUR imagination.

The judges will be looking at how you use your chosen gemstones in the design, how good the design looks and how practical it will be to wear.

A panel of judges will review all entries and select the top 10 winners to be invited for:
