“We are extremely pleased to be recognised as one of Scotland’s best bakers. This is a fantastic achievement for City Market which is hugely popular with both staff and members of the public.
Our thanks go to all our customers who have supported us since we opened. City Market is an integral part of our student’s education as we teach them traditional methods and skills in order to deliver quality every time.”
Scottish Baker of the Year ambassador and star baker Mich Turner MBE commented on City Market's win, saying, "With 630 products from 70 bakers in the running, each and every one of which was assessed for appearance, the quality of the bake, and taste, City Market can be rightly proud of their win."
City Market Bakery is based in City campus and can be accessed directly from Cathedral Street by members of the public or by the ground floor corridor on level 0.
Congratulations to all involved on this impressive achievement.
