Work from graduate BA (Hons) contemporary art practice, design practice, and photography students is on show at the college’s City campus as the physical exhibition makes a welcome return.

The art fair style exhibition is adhering to the college’s Covid-19 restriction guidelines, and is open to staff and students attending campus. It is running as follows:

  • Contemporary Art Practice:            7 -14 June
  • Design Practice:                             18 - 22 June
  • Photography:                                  25 June - 2 July

virtual showcase accompanies the physical exhibition for friends, family and members of the public to view. It runs from 10 June and features work from all BA students across the creative industries’ faculty.

The students are delighted at being able to stage a live exhibition once again, as Evelyn Dewar, Curriculum Head for Fine Art at the college, highlights: “Fantastic opportunity, over the moon and delighted to be exhibiting in City campus, are just some of the reactions from fourth year students at being able to stage a physical show this year,” she said.

BA (Hons) contemporary art practice student, Tim Kirman, who is exhibiting his work, is full of praise for the course and his lecturers: “This course has helped me develop my art practice in ways which I would previously not have considered, and that for me is one of the highlights of the programme. I think the tutor support is second to none and their knowledge and skills is second to none.”

Work by our BA (Hons) photography students is also featuring in Source Magazine which highlights work by photography students in colleges and universities across the UK.
