Endeavour pays off for College Student

A City of Glasgow College HNC Care & Administrative Practice graduate has been recognised by Glasgow’s BMI Ross Hall Hospital for her efforts, commitment and achievement.

The Endeavour Award was presented to Robyn Watson by Linda Hodges, Director of Clinical Services at Ross Hall Hospital, at the college’s new City campus prior to her Graduation Ceremony on 21 November.

Robyn impressed her peers and teachers with her academic achievement and communication skills, and her willingness to engage and support others at all times. She also received outstanding reports for her clinical placement, putting theory into practice and enhancing her skills.

The student is now studying an HNC in Counselling to support a career in Mental Health Nursing and, beyond college, is a supporter and helper of the Invictus Games having travelled to Florida in March to assist a local competitor.

Linda Hodges was taken on a short tour of the new City campus and the faculty facilities which include the newly appointed hospital simulation suite. Ross Hall Hospital is Scotland’s largest private hospital and it has sponsored the purchase of additional clinical monitoring equipment for the college’s hospital suite.
