Overview

We are delighted to offer an innovative Summer School option designed to meet demand for the development of creative Photography skills with a focus on live Rock subjects.

The course has been designed to provide you with hands-on experience of location photography and provides an opportunity to work in a creative skills workshop environment at the College’s City Campus.   The course will enhance your current skills and develop new techniques and knowledge that can be used personally, professionally or commercially.

You will enhance your understanding of both traditional and digital photography whilst creating a portfolio of photographs that will be personalised using innovative techniques and current commercial software under the direction of award winning photographers.  You will have full ownership of everything you produce.

There will be opportunities to visit some of Glasgow’s Rock venues including the world famous “King Tut’s”.  A day trip to Edinburgh will be a feature of the summer school.   The course dates have been selected to coincide with the TRNSMT festival which takes place at Glasgow Green on 6-8th July 2018.
