Pathway Apprenticeships

Pathway Apprenticeships have been developed by Skills Development Scotland and partners. They support the Scottish Government’s Young Person’s Guarantee, which ensures everyone aged between 16 and 24 the opportunity of work, education or training.

If you've recently left school, are unemployed and not receiving benefits, a Pathway Apprenticeship could help you to prepare for the world of work. You'll gain an industry-recognised qualification and accelerate your progression into future employment or further apprenticeship opportunities.

It’s delivered by the college, in partnership with employers.

  • You should be aged 16-18.
  • You’ll gain knowledge, skills and experience through a series of practical activities, including industry projects and work placements.
  • The course lasts 20 weeks and starts on 25th January 2021.
  • You’ll get a £100 weekly allowance.
  • These are blended learning courses with practical workshop and online teaching.
  • Following successful completion, you will have gained a qualification and valuable insight and experience of the world of work.

  • Stonemasonry : Basic banker skills.
  • Stonemasonry : Basic banker skills.
  • Stonemasonry : Block walling with return corners.
  • Stonemasonry : Cutting ovolo moulding to ashlar stop.
  • Stonemasonry : Random rubble external corner and internal return.

On this course, you'll study:-
