In this busy modern world stress and poor wellbeing can play a big part of our daily lives, which can lead to worry, anxiety or frustration, illness, and tiredness. Many of us are unsure about what we can do to resolve or prevent this, where to go or who we can turn to.

Come along and find out what different advice and tips the College and other organisations can offer you, to take away and apply when stressed, overwhelmed, frustrated, etc. that impact on your overall wellbeing.

What's on, 12 noon to 2 pm

Across Campus

Meet other students from across the College by getting involved with fun activities throughout the day.

2nd floor – City SA, The Gallery and Room C.02.105

  • Book a ‘pet-therapy’ session creating a calming effect which helps reduce stress and anxiety. Book via MyCity as spaces are limited. (SA City)
  • Meet our partner agencies who can offer information and support if challenges are impacting on your wellbeing. (City SA & The Gallery)
  • 30-minute Mindfulness Taster sessions, with Laura Buchanan, starting at 12.15pm and 1.15 pm. Book via MyCity as spaces are limited, students ONLY.  (Rm C.02.105)

1st floor - The Mezzanine

  • Come along for a free treatment from our Hair, Beauty and Complementary Therapy students; Learn how exercise and nutrition can help to make you feel more energetic and positive.
  • Sample some tasty alternative foods/smoothies that can improve your overall wellbeing.

What's on, 4 to 6 pm

1st floor - The Mezzanine

  • Just come along and create your own PIZZA, which will be baked for you to enjoy with other students or to take home for dinner.
