Learner Support and Core Skills

Students who find their basic skills require assistance at any point in the session should discuss the matter as soon as possible with their Course Leader/ On-Course Tutor. Help can be given with English language, study skills, report writing, computer skills, numeracy etc.

There are many ways in which we can help you improve these skills so that you can achieve the qualification of your choice. You can ask your tutor to refer you to the Lecturer in Core Skills and Learning Support or make an appointment with the Learner Support team. Designated members of the teaching staff offer support which is more specifically related to course matters. More information will be issued by departments during Induction Week.
