About Us

About the City of Glasgow College

City of Glasgow College is Scotland's largest technical and professional skills college, committed to building careers and enriching lives. Our core mission is to "Let Learning Flourish" for all of our students. We provide a world-class learning environment where individuals from diverse backgrounds can develop the skills and confidence needed for success in their chosen careers.

Our History and Legacy

The college was formed in 2010 from the merger of three specialist colleges: Central College, Glasgow Metropolitan College, and the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies. This merger brought together a wealth of expertise and a rich history, creating a single institution with a powerful, forward-looking vision.
