Computing and IT Courses
As the largest School of Computing in Scotland, we have an excellent reputation as a provider of high quality education and training for you. We offer a range of computing and IT courses second to none, from broad-based introductory level evening and Saturday morning classes, to full time and part time NQ level courses, up to HNC and HND programmes with a key focus on modern web/software development, networking and IT technologies such as Computer Art and Design, Web Technologies and Information Technology, to Software Development, Networking and Technical Support courses.
There are a range of vendor qualifications embedded into our HND courses such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and Adobe enabling our students to earn additional accreditation as well as being credited with SQA units as they work towards an HND qualification, all adding to employability prospects. With exceptional resources and dedicated teaching staff, the latest software packages and state of the art hardware, we guarantee you the best educational experience.
You will also have an opportunity to take part in national competitions such as the UK and World Skills technology competition, two City of Glasgow College computing students competed at the Skills Show, NEC Birmingham in 2013, winning Silver and Bronze medals in Web Development and Network Security competitions.
