Architectural Technology (HNC)
Overview
This course provides an in-depth insight into the roles, responsibilities and duties performed by Architectural Technicians in the building industry. It also develops an increased knowledge of architectural design, construction techniques, building materials, building services, CAD and architectural procedures.
Entry is open to any person who can demonstrate by formal qualifications or otherwise, a reasonable expectation of successful completion of the chosen course of units. For admission to first year you'll need: * An NQ in Building or equivalent, OR * Relevant work experience as evidence of ability, OR * To be employed in a relevant job in industry.

The subjects you'll study include Construction Technology: Substructure, Site Administration, Architectural Design, Sketching and Drawing, and Structural Mechanics.
Two Years.
City Campus North Hanover Street.
First year on a Monday and second year on a Friday from 9.00am - 5.00pm.
The course will run again in September 2012.
