NQ Basic Studio Photography
Overview
This SQA certificate course is a basic introduction to the equipment and techniques of studio photography, including portraiture and still life work.
Students will be expected to buy course materials costing approx. £10.
You don't need any formal qualifications for this course, but you should have a good working knowledge of Digital SLR cameras. If you don't have this knowledge, you should study the Photography: Camera Techniques course first.

You will learn how to set up and operate studio lighting to photograph portraits and still life arrangements. You will develop the skills and confidence to work in a professional studio environment.
This course is an ideal introduction to more advanced photography courses such as Portraiture Skills.
