Overview
This course is a basic introduction to the equipment and techniques of studio photography, including portraiture and still life work. It will introduce you to the important camera functions and how to use them in a wide range of situations including an introduction to basic studio lighting.

- No formal entry requirements - this is a course designed for beginners to dSLR photography.
What you study
- Camera controls and camera techniques.
- Develop a basic knowledge of working in a photographic studio environment.

Materials
The college can provide some equipment however, we encourage you to bring your own DSLR camera. For digital photography classes, it is recommended you bring a USB stick or a storage device.
