Student guidelines for severe weather or during other unusual circumstances
The safety of our students and staff is of paramount importance to us.
The College will endeavour to stay open if at all possible and will only close if weather conditions are severe enough that the campuses cannot be made safe and/or if public transport routes to/from the College are, or are likely to be, very seriously disrupted. This will usually be due to exceptionally heavy snow.
Getting Information
Members of the Executive Leadership Team will monitor weather conditions closely and will decide whether to remain open or not when conditions have been assessed.
The College website will be updated as soon as possible.
Students are expected to travel to College where it is safe to do so. It is up to the individual to judge whether their journey is likely to be safe or not. Students should get up early where bad weather is forecast and check the College website for updates on a regular basis.
