Community and Widening Access
What We Do
Our department offers a variety of personal development courses designed to meet the needs of our diverse community. We teach in both college settings and community centres, collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure our courses are accessible and impactful.
We offer a first step into college, supporting you along the way to gain new skills and qualifications, build your confidence and think about your next steps in education. From practical skills like cooking and ICT to wellbeing, mental health, and creative learning, our tailored support empowers individuals to build confidence, develop new abilities, and connect with their communities. We are dedicated to delivering fee-waived courses to the community to empower individuals through education, build connections, enhance confidence and resilience, and connect communities.
