Welcome to International Partnerships at City of Glasgow College

City of Glasgow College maintains longstanding and successful partnerships across every continent extending to 120 overseas partners across 39 countries and has hosted 25 ministerial and governmental visits from 13 different countries.  Highlighting our brand popularity among the global audience, our partners include public and private educational institutions, financial services, governmental organisations and non-profit organisations.

There is a growing recognition that colleges have a vital role to play in the economic prosperity, quality of life and cultural enrichment of their communities including:

  • Helping increase the employability of students.
  • Providing opportunities for student projects and placements.
  • Contributing to the success of your economy.

We welcome international students from all over the world - giving our city centre campuses and our classrooms a diverse, multicultural feel.

Engaging with external organisations often generates new ideas, creating opportunities to explore new avenues for research. It can also make teaching more relevant to student's job prospects, improve teaching practice, and provide additional funding sources.

Our international projects include:

  • Educational Collaboration (Project Work).
  • Educational Delivery Partner (In-Country delivery of VPET programmes).
  • Curriculum Development Projects.
  • Capacity building and Bespoke Training Programmes.
  • Staff, student and curricular exchanges.
  • Short term study tours.

Our in-country relationships continue to grow, and we welcome conversations about potential educational opportunities and partnerships across the globe.

Contact us if you would like to discuss opportunities as to how you could work with City of Glasgow College.

For individual students looking to study at City we have a dedicated International Students Section with lots of useful information.
