Our Senior Phase and Foundation Apprenticeship courses allow you to study at City while still at school.
Applications open on Wednesday 18 February.
School pupils moving into S4, S5 or S6 in August 2026 can select a vocational course as one of their subject options, alongside their school-based qualifications.
Our courses offer students experience-based, hands-on learning with lecturers who are experts in their field with years of practical industry experience. We continually invest in the latest learning facilities, from our state-of-the-art television and radio studios to our fully equipped engineering workshops; our industry-standard kitchens and training restaurant, to our hair & beauty salons and fully functional Aircraft Cabin - all our courses are delivered in modern, flexible and supportive environments.
As well as enabling you to study subjects that may not be available in school, our School College Partnership courses promote resilience, independence and responsibility in students. Through studying at college, students gain insight into what to expect in further or higher education, thereby reducing the anxiety associated with leaving school and taking the next step in their educational journey.
Benefits
Our students can apply for our full-time courses before they are available to the public. What’s more, as an internal applicant you will automatically receive a conditional offer for any course on the progression pathway.
