I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Glasgow, specialising in graphic design and illustration through a combination of analogue and digital techniques. My practice is driven by experimentation, constantly pushing myself beyond my comfort zone to explore new styles, themes and creative processes. I enjoy developing work around meaningful subjects that encourage reflection and invite audiences to think twice about the world around them. I’m inspired by the culture I grew up in, and I take pride in celebrating the people, landscapes and stories that continue to influence my creative practice.Â
Project Description Â
Pocket Carer is a project inspired by my personal experience as a young carer, exploring the emotional and practical challenges of caring responsibilities. Through self-discovery, research with local organisations and conversations with other carers, I discovered a shared pattern that many carers neglect their own well-being, often missing appointments, respite opportunities and essential self-care. Designed to support carers before, during and after their caring role, Pocket Carer is an accessible app that helps users find respite, connect with community support and prioritise themselves. The project aims to give back to carers by helping them find balance, because better self-care allows them to provide better care for others. Â
