Sarah Quinn
I am a multidisciplined designer specialising in stained glass. While my personal aesthetic leans towards darker, moodier tones, my practice often embraces vivid colour palettes and rich textures to build distinctive narratives. Through abstract forms and symbolic imagery, my work in stained glass reimagines traditional craft in a contemporary context, creating scenes that feel both familiar and otherworldly. As I transition from full-time education into a professional career in glasswork, I aim to push my practice further by exploring surrealist themes and experimental compositions. I intend to create pieces that not only captivate the viewer but also spark meaningful conversation.Â

Inspired by my personal experience as a goth woman, this exhibit showcases the materials, morals and voices of goth culture and its community to educate an audience beyond the lens, in an effort to challenge misconceptions and push back against the oversexualisation of goth women in modern society.Â
