I chose to study at the College because of its strong reputation for delivering career-focused education. The computing course provides the knowledge and technical abilities I need to progress in IT and cybersecurity. I was also attracted by the up-to-date facilities and the College’s connections with industry, which offer valuable practical experience. In addition, studying in Glasgow appealed to me because of its growing role in education and technology.
The structure of the programme, along with the experience of the lecturers, provides a strong learning environment where I can continue to develop my technical abilities.
What I enjoy most is the hands-on learning style. The course is designed to build practical abilities that are directly relevant to the workplace. I also value the opportunity to collaborate with other students on projects, which has helped me strengthen my teamwork and problem-solving skills. Overall, it provides a supportive environment to develop my computing knowledge.
I decided to study in Scotland because its education system is widely respected and places a strong emphasis on employability. The course allows me to gain real experience with current technologies, which is essential in the IT sector. It has also given me the chance to improve my English and study in an international environment, which supports both my academic and personal growth.
I chose this course because of my strong interest in technology and cybersecurity, as well as my previous diploma in IT and security. It is a natural progression that allows me to build on my existing knowledge. What I find most interesting is the wide range of subjects covered, including networking, programming, and systems, all of which are key areas for my future career.
After completing my studies, I plan to continue developing my expertise and gain experience in the IT and cybersecurity field. My goal is to build a professional career focused on protecting systems and networks. The skills I am gaining now will provide a strong foundation for this path.
I enjoy living in Glasgow because it is a welcoming and multicultural city. It is easy to meet people from different backgrounds, which makes the experience more enjoyable. The city also offers convenient transport, along with many places to relax or study, creating a good balance between academic life and personal time.
Yes, I would recommend it to other international students. The College offers a high standard of education and prepares students for real-world careers. The teaching staff are supportive, and the diverse student community creates a welcoming atmosphere. Combined with life in Glasgow, it provides a very positive study experience.
My advice would be to stay organised and manage your time effectively, especially when adapting to a new environment. It is important to practise your English regularly, ask for support when needed, and take part in class activities. I would also encourage students to meet new people and explore the city, while staying focused on their studies.
