City of Glasgow College is proud to celebrate the success of Ben Wilson, from Neilston, who will graduated last year after completing his HND in Electrical Engineering.
Ben was awarded the Principal’s Prize for Outstanding Academic Achievement, recognising his exceptional academic performance and commitment to his studies. The award was accompanied by a £100 prize.
Reflecting on his achievement, Ben said:
“I’m extremely honoured to receive this award after the hard work that went into completing my HND. Over the past two years, I’ve developed a real passion for electrical engineering, and I’m excited to see where it leads. This passion wouldn’t have been possible without the lecturers who genuinely cared about our learning and created an environment I truly enjoyed being part of".
Ben’s journey highlights not only his strong technical ability but also his resilience and determination in overcoming personal challenges. His time at City of Glasgow College has helped shape both his skills and his confidence, preparing him for the next stage of his career in electrical engineering.
