ACS CCN1 Domestic Gas - Training & Assessment/Reassessment

This BPEC Gas Safety training course is for candidates looking to complete/renew their CCN1 initial assessment.  The course includes gas pipework, gas supply, combustion, appliance gas safety devices and controls, ventilation requirements, emergency procedures and the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1998.

The City of Glasgow College specialises in the following appliances that the CCN1 underpins:-

  • CENWAT 1: Central Heating Boilers
  • CPA 1: Combustion Performance Analysis (part of CCN1)
  • CKR 1: Domestic Cookers
  • HTR 1: Gas Fires and Wall Heaters 

Communication

Don’t worry, City of Glasgow College will let you know when your ACS gas certificate is due to expire. ACS Gas Certificates are valid for 5 years, on expiry candidates can undertake a re-assessment within 6 months of their certificate expiry date.

If you miss your renewal you could face:-

  • Removal from the Register.
  • Mandatory Attendance to a theory based Inspection event.
  • Application of a penalty fee.
