Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is an alternative fuel used in heating appliances, cooking equipment and vehicles.
Our LPG courses are for experienced gas engineers who hold valid CCN1 and COCN1 qualifications.
If you already hold a CONGLP1 qualification you will be able to take one of our separate LPG modules for boats & yachts, leisure accommodation vehicles, closed flue gas fires or residential park homes.
If you are looking to increase your knowledge and expand your business to cover LPG, these courses are essential.
The courses we have available are:-
- LPG Closed Flue Gas Fires - LPG Closed Flue Gas Fires course is for experienced operatives who already hold the LPG Changeover (CONGLP1) qualification, from either Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) or Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1).
- LPG Residential Park Homes - LPG Residential Park Homes course is for experienced operatives who already hold the LPG Changeover (CONGLP1) qualification, from either Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) or Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1).
- LPG Leisure Accommodation Vehicles - LPG Leisure Accommodation Vehicles course is for experienced operatives who already hold the LPG Changeover (CONGLP1) qualification, from either Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) or Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1).

Communication
Don’t worry, City of Glasgow College will let you know when your ACS gas certificate is going to expire. ACS Gas Certificates are valid for 5 years, on expiry candidates can undertake a re-assessment within 6 months of their certificate expiry date.
If you miss your renewal you could face:-
- Removal from the Register.
- Mandatory attendance to a theory based Inspection event.
- Application of a penalty fee.
