Overview

This course will allow you to develop skills in various techniques of handling ceramic, jewellery and art glass materials. You'll develop design and drawing skills and understand the practical applications of various media, firing techniques and the use of workshop and studio equipment.

Although a mostly practical course, you'll also develop research skills, complete written work and work with digital media.

Entry requirements

Minimum entry requirements

  • Two Standard Grades at Credit Level in Art & Design and English; OR
  • Two National 5 Qualifications in Art & Design and English.

 

You'll be invited for a group and/or individual interview where you can find out more about the course and tell us why you're interested in this subject. At the interview you will be asked to provide examples of your art and design work.
