Our drama courses develop the skills you require for acting and performance. They focus on the practical skills required by the actor, while also supporting the practical experiences with knowledge of theatre and performance.

This creative, learner-focused course is delivered by highly professional teaching staff, with significant acting and performance experience and a proven track record of bringing out the best in their students and preparing them for entering the world of performance.

  • Two Highers at Grade C or above including English; OR
  • NQ Drama (SCQF Level 6) qualification; OR
  • Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
  • Selection: Practical group workshop (movement/voice), audition monologue performance, and a short interview.
  • Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, a minimum of SQA ESOL Higher (or equivalent).
HND Acting and Performance (Year 2 Direct Entry) SCQF Level 8 1 Year (Full-time) City Campus
  • Academic Requirement: Successful completion of an HNC in Acting and Performance (with 15 credits) and a positive recommendation from your course tutors.
  • External Applicants: If you hold an HNC from another institution, entry is by audition.
