This course prepares you for a career in the retail industry, where there's a growing need for people qualified to fill trainee management positions.

During the course, you'll carry out case studies, projects and assignments, and we'll assess your progress continuously. We also organise industrial visits and study tours.

This course runs for 6 months from January - June 2018.

Minimum entry requirements

  • ·  Two Highers at Grade C or above including English, or relevant Business subjects AND two National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above; OR

    ·  NC or NQ qualification at SCQF level 6 in a relevant business subject; OR


        An appropriate SVQ

    ·  Other equivalent qualifications or experirnce

A wide range of inventive and stimulating learning methods are employed to ensure student engagement and learning experiences are suitable for individual student needs. There is a high level of active learning with retail employers and professionals to develop skills for work.

A wide range of continuous assessment methods will be employed across closed/open book assessments, case studies, reports and presentations.
