City of Glasgow College invites you to join our Modern Apprenticeship (MA) Employer of Excellence Programme.
Following the outstanding success of our pilot, we are delighted to offer this award to all of our employers who employ Modern Apprentices.
This initiative celebrates and supports organisations that show exceptional commitment to apprenticeship development - raising standards, promoting best practice, and enhancing the experience for both employers and apprentices. By becoming an MA Employer of Excellence, you’ll join a growing network dedicated to shaping the future of skills and workforce development.
To support your apprentices on their learning journey, these short sessions are highly beneficial for apprentice line managers and those supporting them in Learning and Development roles.
Course Content
The College have developed eight specially designed training courses aimed at enhancing apprenticeship support within organisations. Each online course is just two hours long, making them easy to fit into the working week.
Organisations can choose to achieve either Gold or Silver Status. Complete all eight sessions to earn Gold status, or participate in five sessions to qualify for Silver status.
- Introduction to Safeguarding.
- Neurodiversity Awareness.
- Digital Literacy.
- Dealing with Difficult Situations.
- Mental Health Awareness.
- Coaching and Mentoring.
- Giving and Receiving Feedback.
- Unconscious Bias.
Cost
- Silver Status £125 per person*
- Gold Status £200 per person*
*These costs include all sessions.
