Professional Cookery - Full Time Courses

City of Glasgow College provides professional cookery and culinary arts courses ranging from introductory SCQF Level 3 up to advanced HND Level 8. Taught by industry-experienced chef lecturers at our state-of-the-art City Campus, our programs prepare students for careers as professional chefs through hands-on training in commercial kitchens and our fine dining outlet, Scholars.

The professional cookery industry is continuing to grow in response to demand as consumers spend more time dining out, with new restaurants regularly opening covering a huge range of cultures and cuisines.

We have excellent links with local employers and related organisations and use these to bring in guest speakers from the industry and secure work placements for our students.
