Scholars’ is our licensed training restaurant located on the ground floor of our City campus on Cathedral Street.

The restaurant is open to the public and operates as part of the course programme for students who are working, or who anticipate working within the Hospitality Industry. Students are timetabled to cook and serve meals under the supervision of lecturers. Scholars' allows students to gain valuable real-life industry experience.

  • From Wednesday 31 January, we will offer special themed lunches for 12 weeks, on a Wednesday. Please see the list below for the available dates.
  • From Thursday 15 February until Thursday 23 May, Scholars' will offer a Brasserie Menu, available on Thursdays and Fridays each week.

  • Greek Table d'hote - 14 February.
  • Brasserie Tasting Menu - 21 February.
  • Gastro Pub Service - 28 February.
  • Fine Dining Silver Service  - 6 March.
  • Regional Italian Table d'hote - 13 March.
  • So-Cal Small plates - 20 March.
  • Seafood Tasting menu - 27 March.
  • Vegetarian menu Tasting - 17 April.
  • British Fine Dining - 24 April.
  • Eastern European Family Style - 1 May.

All themed lunches will be £23 per person, with a themed drink included with lunch.  To reserve a table on our themed dates (Wednesday lunch), please email Scholars directly, as a £5 deposit is required.
