Our Careers Advice and Guidance Team consists of professionally qualified advisors committed to supporting your entire career journey. We offer impartial support to help you make informed decisions, whether you're selecting a course, planning your university progression, or looking for a job, we can help. 

Whether it’s a part-time job while you’re studying; a volunteering opportunity to get experience; or a graduate job when you’ve completed your studies; City Careers is a great place to start. We’ll help you to:

  • Meet with a Careers Advisor to talk about your plans.
  • Create and update your CV and cover letter.
  • Search for work experience.
  • Get help to make speculative applications to employers.

  • Careers Portal
    Our online Careers Portal is updated daily with relevant part-time jobs, work experience placements, internships, and graduate roles in Glasgow.
  • Recruitment Events
    Participate in our major annual Recruitment and Employability Fairs, where you can meet local and national employers who specifically target City of Glasgow College talent for their vacancies.
  • Alumni and Graduate Support
    Our services don't stop at graduation. We continue to offer support and resources to our alumni as they embark on their professional careers.

For a roundup of local vacancies sent to the College, we have a dedicated vacancy service on our JobShop.
