Publication and use of your name

Every year the list of graduates' names appears in the Herald newspaper. Your name will automatically be included in the Herald newspaper listings and published in the College's graduation brochure regardless of whether you have registered to participate in the graduation ceremony, unless you specifically ask us not to. The Herald and graduation brochure are published in print and online and therefore available to the public. If you do not wish for your name to be included in one or both publications, please notify us by selecting the opt-out option on the graduation registration page before Tuesday 27 October 2026. If you fail to opt-out within this specified timeframe, we may be unable to prevent your name from being published.

We will use your formal registered student name (as opposed to an alias) in the Herald newspaper, graduation brochure and during the graduation ceremony. If you want to change this, please notify us via the name change option on the graduation registration page by Tuesday 27 October 2026.

We rely on legitimate interest to capture and process personal data during the graduation ceremony. We do not ask for your consent.
